Well I took all the good advice given me here and I am happy to report a wonderful improvement!
A few new toys, a new corner for her cage and full-spectrum lighting has done wonders. She's getting back to her old sweet disposition. I hope it lasts:rofl:
Right now, I have the FS lamp on a timer, to come on at 4 in the afternoon and then goes off around 7pm. Does this sound like a good schedule? I'm trying to simulate the longer summer days that she has become accustomed to. If anyone has any other suggestions, I'd be very happy to hear them.
Also, can any of you here tell me about how long does it take for all the flight feathers to come in? The very last of the old ones are still in and she has been going crazy flapping her wings, I can only assume she's trying to get them to fall out. Eventhough she has calmed down significantly, I'm still thinking I'll have her clipped, especially with the holidays approaching, for safety more than anything.
