hmmm I don't know if I would let my lovies get into a tube like that.

Mine on occasion play in the paper tubes, but for my peace of mind, I know if they get stuck I can easily rip through the tube to get to them.
With this hampster tunnel, if they were to get stuck there is no wayt o get them out by breaking the tunnel as it is hard plastic.

I did actually look in the puppy toy section at Petsmart and found a chew toy that I hung from Kirby's cage and he just LOVES it. He spent 3 hours playing on it when I first brought it home; weaving in and out of the circles.
It has different material textures on it!!

Here is a photo of Kirby when I first put it in his cage:

He pretty much went all fluffly and then started his weaving.. hehehe

I'd pass.

I think a lovie would be terrified to death to crawl in there. Try an exercise wheel, or something more open that can also double as a sleepy spot. That is the best way to spend your money.

Fair enough... i did see some " open" see saws made of wood... mayb that could be fun for them to play on and see who is the heaviest lol

I came up with a better idea, boo loves peeking out of tubes (hence how she got her name baby boo) anyways you can get a mailing tube from the post office they are super cheap like 2 bucks or less and are large and recycled paper cardboard tube so good to chew and climb through also i drill holes for peek a boo games.
Works real good it's safe and its cheap:D

I'm not sure about the content of mailing tubes. You know, like whether there's any types of glue involved in their manufacture? Does anyone here know for sure? They sound safe and fun really. The one thing I would be sure of is that lovebirds can't get stuck in them PERIOD. Even if your able to tear through to get them out could you imagine one being stuck in there for hours? Although its unlikely they will enter it you just never know.................Michael and Goofy

Many members use these for their little ones and they are safe http://www.dabners.co.uk/product-3691-critters-choice-chube-large.html

Lovies like to run through them and play hide and seek. Also a good spot to take a nap. :lol

In Canada, those are called Chubers...they are made for rodents, bunnies etc, but I use them for everyone here. The birdies get the midsize one so they don't feel entrapped. Chubers come with fluffy bedding for critters, but I don't give it to the birds.

Hmmm. Chubers eh? I'll just have to try a couple out  . Maybe I should find one big enough for humans too. That way it'll be easier to roll over at night. That sea saw looks neat too, but I got a feeling it may end up a little one sided maybe? :) ..............Michael and Goofy
