Romeo will go to the bottom perch in the cage and stand really tall and start flapping his wings like he is trying to fly but never leaves the perch. he is doing some type of wing exercise or something else.

Ditto does that all the time, he'll even do it while perched on my finger.:happy:

Both my male and hen do that talk about raiseing a millet shell storm!

I love when Goof flaps away while not going anywhere. He does this quite often, even when he's on my shoulder :). Of course we do get those millet and paper storms every once in a while. I don't think we've put the vacuum cleaner away yet since he's joined us :rolleyes: .............Goofy and michael

Jack is really smart. He's learned that if he drops something valuable through the grate by accident, he can flap REALLY hard and either bounce it back up, or the wind will raise the paper enough so he can try and snag it. He loves millet storms, too.
Also, sometimes they do this when they need to dislodge a feather when a new one is coming in.
What's even funnier, is when he's playing with a toy, or just climbing the bars of his cage, and the toy brushes up against his back, he'll throw the biggest temper tantrum! He rolls around on the floor, squawking and growling, trying to bite at the invisible evil thing on his back that might have mussed up his pretty feathers.:rotfl

Same here.....Oliver doesn't do it (he's 11) but Big Boi and Shy who are 2 1/2 do it daily.

My Peanut does that when he is mad at someone for either putting him in the cage or not paying attention to him. Sometimes he does it when he is really excited.
