Beezle seems to have an extremely hard time going in the down direction. I have been coaxing him out of his cage and just about every time he's fallen out instead of gracefully flown or crawled out.........

He has absolutely no problem whatsoever going up though, even though he's clipped he seems to do just fine with going short distances upward, like back into his cage from the floor..

Is this normal?? I would assume it's because birds are built to go up? -shrug-

It may depend how often he's actually taken off from his cage. I've seen lots of birds that would stumble and fumble because of being uncertain about leaving the edge (big cliff) of their cage. My lovie did the same when flying from his cage the first few times. After a while it was no problem. Surprisingly, he did the same thing over again when I finally bought him a new cage . I did though feel sorry for him a few times and came to his rescue :D............Michael and Goofy
