I wanted to thank everyone that responded with some great ideas to rename "Eddie".
But, no matter how much I may have liked a name, I keep calling him "Eddie". So, Eddie it is.
I think they say something about people who name their pets people names ...... I even thought today that I would change my answering machine message to " Eddie and I can't answer the phone right now....." It is a sad day, I guess I am truly a spinster >o
Boy!! I am lovebird crazy! And Eddie isn't even affectionate yet.

Eddie sounds like a good name for a special lovebird. And if for some reason Eddie's a "she", you could always drop a D :)! I think little Eddie has cast the ol'e lovebird spell on ya. There really is something about sharing our lives with lovebirds, even if we have to suffer the consequences .

I think Eddie is a great name! I know I fell in love with our first lovebird Zimber right away, but he was one of those wild petshop birds and it took years for him to really warm up to us. I didn't care. Everything he did was funny and amazing. In fact, he was so fun and amazing my house is busting at the seams with lovebirds8o .

In the movie The Prince and Me the prince's name was Eddie. So it sounds like a great name to me.

When he is bad, I say ... "Edward, you stop that."
Sounds so distinguished.
Richard Gere in Pretty Woman was Edward :-)
