New friend for Lilly!

I posted recently about Lilly's companion passing away. I had lots of advice, and after observing Lilly i decided to get her a new friend:)

i dont usually trust pet stores with the way they raise and treat their animals, but i found one near me that specializes in birds. all of their birds are friendly and have been obviously well taken care of. i bought a little yellow one, not sure what kind exactly, but there will be pictures up soon.

both birds have been checked by the vet and i have them in seperate cages for the next few weeks. i introduced them a couple times and surprisingly there was no fighting at all, almost a little affection:)

just wanted to keep everyone posted, i cant wait to see how things work out...my Lilly was too lonely

what store did you go to? i'm glad you found lilly a friend, she must have been lonely.

It's called Pet Den, in Commack, if anyone knows where that is.

not sure where that is... but i was in my favorite bird store in manhattan the other day (bird camp) and they had two of the most adorable yellow lovebirds and was wondering if thats where you went. um, when are we going to get some pics? there is a yellow lovebird fangroup on here and i'm sure they're all eager to see.
