Hi everyone,
Does anyone have one of those beginner training videos? I would love to borrow someones (I would pay all the shipping to me and back of course), or if not, does anyone know of one to suggest that is good?
There is a girl on you tube that taught her lovebird to do a ton of tricks in a short period of time. Eddie seems kinda smart (don't we all think our fid is the smartest? ) and I would love to try to teach him some.

i don't have any training videos, but i bought the book " don't shoot the dog' by karen pryor and also bought a clicker training book. once i finish the book i hope to start training bailey and peaches. it's good that you are thinking along these lines. i've read that training your birds is a good experience for them and for you.

I too have been looking at clicker training. Let me know how it goes.
I'd love to train Bekkie and Luna.
They both do the step-up on command  , lol and they also know when they're being naughty  , so teaching them some cute tricks would be a great project and experience, and it would help them improve their minds as well 8o . Bekkie is really smart, she's opening stuff that I never thought she'd 'get' so I really want to help her put that intelligence to good use. Luna just loves singing, I'd like to see what else he can do... ;)
Any ideas on free videos and stuff, since I'm literally on the other side of the world and shipping would be more than a month's pay (at least!) for me?
Thanks!!! :clap

Check out this girl 's lovebird Tico and the tricks she says she learned from a guy who emailed her the instructions. Wish I had them!
