Say. You know the last two times Goof molted he'd have about two weeks of heavy feather recycling then would gradually subside for a few days until whalla! He's a brand new bird again :)! This time he did the same but then decided to start the heavy duty stuff all over again. Now we have to work on our dream catcher and find a pillow to stuff the rest in . I think its finally coming to an end now, but really, I've never seen him do this to such great extent. Poor little guy has loads of pin feathers too :(. Well, at least he's in very good spirits about all this. As long as I don't rub him the wrong way :omg:..............:)

Goodness Michael. Poor little Goofy...all those pin feathers can be so uncomfortable.
Hope this doesn't set him to plucking.
What are you doing to help soothe him and keep him so good-natured?

Well, plenty of goofing around together and a daily birdy dunking. I use my hands mainly to wet him all over really good. He's finally going along with the program without too much resistance. Got the old spray bottle with aloe too. He hates the spray bottle the little turd but often when I pass by I give him a cloud or two anyways. I also set up a small vaporizer in the next room to offset the dry humidity levels from the forced air heating. All this and he still wants his bath!. Sorry, I have a few photo's but just haven't had time to get them loaded onto a new host "yet". I really need to quit trying out so many new photo hosts .
