Two wee birdies meet at last

Today Haku the lovebird and Oki the green- rumped parrotlet met each other for the very first time. I was petrified that a beak- ripping, toe- tearing brawl would ensue, so i just sat there with my squirt bottle, waiting for any sign of aggression. It went better than I expected! Oki and Haku were naturally curious about each other, and little Oki immediately went up to Haku and started checking him out. It was fine though, no signs of aggression, they acted like old chums from way back. Both just chilled out on an upside down waste-paper basket for awhile... (Haku's playgym of choice for over 6months now:confused:) After about five minutes of checking each other out, Oki went about his business preening in a corner, and Haku went ahead playing with his ball. Here are some pics!!! I totally have the best of both worlds... big-parrot and small- parrot!!!:clap

Haku and Oki look like they are already old friends! Pretty little boogers :). Say. I didn't know Evie had a tootsie fetish :x. Jeez...The habits some of these parrots pick up sometimes :roll:. And that Ammy...I think he might just like the camera a little bit too much. Next thing you know, he'll be the one taking the pictures...if there's anything left of the camera!.......:).......Thanks for sharing such great pics Dani!
