So, since last night, Akira has dropped 9 tail feathers.

They came out clean, no blood, and she didn't squeal either.

They just fell out.

is it normal to molt all tail feathers at once? I see some shorter ones that maybe are coming in?

Any suggestions would be great! Thanks!

While most birds don't lose that many tailfeathers at one time, it can happen. My Princess of Wales Parakeet did the same thing about 2 weeks ago. She has this long, absolutely gorgeous tail and I kept finding more and more long feathers on the bottom of her cage. She's growing new ones so I accepted the fact that she would not be minus her gorgeous asset! If new ones were not coming in, I would definitely be concerned.
