YEP! It's easy to fall in love with a lovie especially a cute one like that .

I have too many and want more so I try and ignore any around. Of course, my dream birds are a blue and gold macaw and a pigeon. I went to the avian vet office last week where I saw they had two different blue and golds for adoption:omg: :omg: . One was a 20 year old plucker, which was too tempting because I really want a special needs bird who is at least 20. Luckily, I'm too busy and my husband is being such a voice of reason these days I didn't even bother to bring the birdy up8o .

Yes! So many birds, so little time....:(

I did e-mail the current owner of the lovie and she thinks that the bird is a female (based on body type.) There is no proof of that (i.e. eggs!) though. I really don't want a hen so that helps!!!

Ooooo that's almost a Dittobird!

You got my heart going (and almost my car... ) when I saw that it was in York (York, Pa, is where Ditto came from) but alas it's in Canada.

 Yup, York Region, Canada is probably a little far to go for a birdie!

Dittobird is beautiful!!!

Yeah, York, Pa is only 60 miles from here. York in Canada is a bit further!

But for another Dittobird what's a little 435 mile trip and a border crossing:whistle:

i know the feeling! i can't afford nor would i have time for another bird, but still constantly look! although i did get a cute little cottage cage today (from a friend whose mom had a bird) my first thought was like hey, i could get a new one to put in here, although it's small! hahaha

i have a friend with doves and i'd like one sometime.

I am being wonderfully malicious and impractical:clap Blue and golds are just wonderful, wonderful birds. They are just full of personality, Ammy makes me laugh every day. I never thought of myself as a macaw person much, I was always a little intimidated by them. But honestly, when you have a big, gorgeous bird snuggled against you whispering "hello, hello mama, hi parrot" in your ear, and nibbling ever so gently at your fingers with that big beak, you just melt. Not helping am I...:x your hubby would not approve lol.

That lovie is absolutely adorable. I would snatch him in a heartbeat if I could. thank God I can't....
