Why was my bird humping a stuffed animal?

Birds have been known to hump anything that will sit long enough from rope perches to computer mouses to hands you name it they will hump it, just think in terms of a 15 year old human male lol

I'm with Janie. I didn't see any of your previous posts, which is strange cause we are both on the board pretty regularly :confused: .

As for your lovie, since he/she is young they will go through a lot of behavior changes through their first year of life. This may have been what you were experiencing with your lovie. I'm glad things have gotten better, though please remember your birdy doesn't hate you. They are often going through changes, different moods, etc.

I don't know what you mean about walking with the tail up. Some lovies do a sort of airplane pose where their wings go out and their tail goes up. This is a mating pose, and while it's generally a hen behavior I've had males who also do the pose.

I have 2 females and Bo ,the lutino, has somehow convinced Cookie to get on and hump her! Bo gets a little frustrated because she knows something is not quite right>o ..So normal ? Well . they think so!:roll:
