Hi All,
It's been a while since I've posted but I see my daughter has been visiting the board :) (hi, sweetie!)
I wanted to tell you all that Tutti Frutti's feathers have been growing in GREAT!!! He has several wing feathers on each side and I'd say about 10 tailfeathers now. We haven't been letting him into anyone's shirt and, as usual, he's been staying off hard wooden surfaces (like our bay window).
I think that the extra gentle handling was just at the right time-- I guess his molt finally reached down to his tail. We think he is about a year old. (Only, I haven't noticed any strong hormonal behavior. (?))
