:D I got home late this evening. When my husband came to pick me up at the subway station, I asked what he did this evening. Apparently, Squeaky was calling for him, so my husband came up to the office and ate his dinner with him! My husband also let Squeaky out, gave him some corn (Squeaky's favourite) and watched lovebird YouTube videos with Squeaky!!!! :rofl: :rotfl

And my husband has never known any other birds! I think he is officially a fidpa now! :clap

I am green with jealousy! I had to go out of town last week leaving my husband to care for the pets. I was so worried about Luna. I knew he would take good care of her, but that she would pretty much be alone all week. He just can't get past her biting him, I try to tell him that she just doesn't know him, but it just makes him mad and he isn't interested in getting to know her. Oh well, such is life. Congrats on your fidpa!! :D

That's great! Must have been super cute. My boyfriend loves Haku (lovie) and Oki (p'let) and absolutely adores Evie (Amazon) but falling in love with Ammy (macaw) has been tricky for him. Ammy is young, and still nippy and headstrong and baby-ish, which can be intimidating. Oh well, such is life, as beckyg said... one can still hope...:D

good. it always makes it a lot easier to be away when you know someone is helping out. makes leaving feel a little more guilt-free!

daniel loves the birds, and takes care of them too. i still call while i'm at school just to check and it drives him nuts. "yes emily! they have clean water! yes, i'm playing with them!" haha. the other night he even brought us home gifts! they needed a bigger happy hut since they both started sleeping in it, so they got one. now they won't sleep in it again :rofl:
