REALLY WEIRD!!

today, some music came on the computer REALLY loud and the birds got really excited. then, francis started doing some gagging head bob and then locking his beak in with the dude's beak over and over again (not fighting).

That is a good thing. I think anyway. My bird does that gagging head bobbing whenever it gets excited about me coming into the room or making a noise it likes. When my bird does this it is throwing up its food to try and feed my hands or my feet. Look closely to see if they have food in their mouths. I think it's just getting real happy and excited.

he's regurgitating for his friend, or as we like to call it gacking. if kiwi gets extra excited, he tries to do this to either my son or me - and while we love the thought, we politely tell him thank you, but i'll pass!!

I have a feeling this is mating season for my lovebird too. Lets just say he's been taking a rather objective approach to anything that isn't nailed down. Poor little guy :(. One minute he's his jolly old self, the next minute he's working real hard to be sure his species doesn't become extinct..........:)
