Cage help

I have the following cage,

and I want to get another one for the new bird incase they don't get along and I am sure I have seen the same cages on here where there were two of these and the middle section came apart so you could have them seperate or together...am I right?
can I get another one and do this or does it come already assembled??

I have a single too but was wondering if I got another single could I join them together like in that pic?
Just in case my new lovies don't get along and I have to seperate them.
