I had a calcium perch that is green and the color keeps coming off when my white faced pied rubbed her beak on it.So I put it in my green lovebirds cage after I had soaked it and scrubbed it raw (and it still didn't get rid of the green).
I told Keiko NOT to rub her beak on it but use it until I can get to the shops on monday and get another perch and what does she do?
Looks at me, looks at the perch, looks at me as she lowers her head and rubs her beak on it....I said 'NO' and she looked at me again and it again and bobbed her head :rotfl
she knows what I was saying!
