Hi, bit of a random question.....

Just how red are a Lutinos eyes? I know in pictures that the flash brings them out redder but is it only really seen in certain light or are they really red!

Sorry for the silly question!

Not a silly question at all, Gill! :)
The eyes of a Lutino Peachfaced Lovebird are actually red. Creamino (ino in blue series) also have red eyes, although Creamino eyes tend to be a darker red.

Is the red of the eyes really noticable when looking at a Lutino? Thinking back to the two I saw at the pet shop the other week I didnt notice them as real red. I'm imagining devil eyes! :D

Red eyes against the yellow feathering is noticeable, yes. I won't say devil eyes but they are definitely red rather than black. Even before a Lutino baby is out of the shell, you can tell it's a Lutino because the eyes look pink under the lid. First time I saw a hatchling Lutino, I thought it didn't have eyes at all!
