Kale-mania and night chirping

Hello everybody:

My lovebird is finally eating vegetables. But now she's going a little overboard and eating everything I give her. The more I give her, the more she eats. Do I need to restrict the amount of vegetables I give her? (I give her leafy greens: kale, collard and mustard greens)

Also, occasionally she will chirp in the middle of the night. Is that normal?

Hi Lisa,
Green, leafy veggies are very good for your lovebird to eat and it's wonderful to hear that she's eating all that you give her! As long as she's eating other things, I would not restrict the amount of veggies she can have!

Occasionally, birds will chirp during the night. She may hear something that you don't or it may be part of a birdie dream. As long as it's not screaming.
