Hi When is the can i start training my love bird the guy told me wate three days but i only got one and i know they need lots of interaction to become tame every thing else I red says to start right away but wateing a few hours what is best?

Before you can start training your lovebird, the very first thing you have to do is gain his/her trust. With birds, this doesn't come naturally. Trust has to be earned and the only way to do it is to be patient until your bird truly realizes that you mean it no harm. This is infinitely easier with a tame, hand fed baby but it's not impossible with an older bird. It will just take longer.

Read through some of the threads in this forum and you should be able to get a lot of information about how to go about taming and training.

I agree with Linda, 100%! It can take months to gain a lovebirds trust and that is the first step in a great future relationship.
