Well, Pip and Ivy really seem to like each other. I still have to watch Pip around her because he still likes to nip at feet from time to time! Mostly Ivy tries to "feed" Pip, but I caught Pip doin the same two times. Today they went beak to beak, Ivy feeding Pip.....I wish I could catch these times on camera! I ran and grabbed the camera but the only thing I could get was how Pip acts when he's trying to get Ivy to notice him! It's the cutest thing....he dances around her, standing all tall and skinny and "chirps" at her like hes saying.....Look at me!!! I got some of this on video.......at this point Ivy wasn't really too impressed anymore, but Pip doesn't give up! He even follows me when I have Ivy and I walk into another room....I think he's in love! :D

WOW! Cute!
I got nervous watching that...IVY is so BIG compared to Pip. :omg:
I'm sure you watch the two of them very carefully when they are out together but my goodness she just towers over him! 8o

Apparently size doesn't matter much to Pip.....it almost looks as if he's trying to look all thin and he's showing off to her! It's ok.....you don't have to worry about Ivy.....she came from a home where she was in a bird room with other birds, including two lovies, one of which she bonded with and they really liked each other......Ivy wouldn't hurt Pip.....there are times though when she is not in the mood for him, and he's just a bit much for her! when that happens, she chases Pip away, and Pip takes the hint and leaves! and Yes I do keep a close eye when the two are together! Mostly though I worry about Pip getting Ivy! He's a little feet nipper! so I always have to keep a close eye!

Very cute! I love how lovies think they are much bigger than they are!
What is Ivy? A Pionus? Hard to tell with the lighting. I thought about getting a Pionus or a Senegal or Meyer's. Got Odie instead, but I'm still thinking about it...

Ivy is a blueheaded pionus......she's a good bird! only thing I would change about her is her fear of strangers

LOL--it reminds me of how Little Yellow Bird used to be (they're on screeching terms, but I can't allow them together any more) with Apple my Quaker. I'm glad your two fids are getting along.

I must say Pip is a very "impressive" little guy. I think he needs a pair of mini-stilts!..............:)
