poooor pip lost his humping toy for the day!

I went to get Pip up this morning and noticed on top of his cage where his favorite soft little rope toy is, that he somehow had put it in his birdie bath and it must have been sitting in the water all night.....soaking wet! This is his favorite toy that he humps..... No more nice soft rope toy and I tried to dry it off for him, but it was pretty soaked......he just sat there and looked at it....no humping today or he will have a wet butt! :rotfl I said "sorry Pip, I don't know what to tell ya!" guess he'll just have to wait for it to dry......no humping today! :omg:

I remember those days! Li'l Devil used to hump his bird pacifier all day long. He wasn't picky though. Any pacifier would do. When he wore out one, I would just buy a new one for the cage, and he'd go to town on that one. And at times he would hump my finger (ewwww!), but usually he settled for just regurgitating for me.

At what age do they start to hump? I thought Eddie did it a few times, but he hasn't done it for a couple of months now. He has spread his wings a couple times when I pet him though. Better not be a she!
