just thought i'd give an update on Oli's itching problem. she hasn't been itching the spot on her lower back as much anymore. i think the problem has gone away. the only reason she itches there is because her feathers have started to grow back in this spot. i'm quite happy about her progress. however, i never really knew forsure what might have been the problem and i'm sure something could/might flare up in the future. i also have another praise item i'd like to share. i finally found a vegetable she likes to eat on her own. it only took a year to get her to want to eat it. she loves brocoli! now i just need to get her onto a new fruit :) perhaps next summer she will take to mangos. patience is key.
