nestbox?

ok I put an old tissue box in the cage and Mardi is building a nest in it...will thiis be strong enough for a nest or should I go out and buy a wooden one?...will she get mad if I take it out and put a wooden one in?:confused:

If Mardi is a single lovie, the kleenex box will do. If she has a mate, you will need something sturdy like a wooden nestbox.

Are you wanting them to have babies? If so get a wooden box and put it next to the tissue one. She will pick which she likes better. If not I would remove the tissue box and rearrange their cage. Unless she is in laying condition I would put her off laying eggs myself.
