What does this mean?

Ever since my baby bird (6 1/2 weeks old) grew a tail, he's been shaking/wagging his tail a lot. After he shakes it, the tail feathers spread out like a fan. Sometimes he'll stomp for a bit. Is he excited about something when he does that? coz he does that whenever and my other lovebirds don't do that except for the 2 males after they shake their bodies to fluff up.

I read somewhere that a lovie will wag his tail when he is happy or excited, kinda like a dog would. Peanut does it quite often when he sees me, so I do think it is a happy response.
