Does anyone elses lovie do anything like this..
Elmo will run THROUGH my apartment to get to this turtle statue.. his cage is in the bedroom.. it takes about 15 humans steps to get to the turtle!!.. humans steps.. its about 238471029384710923847 lovie steps.. even from his play pen its a fair distances for such a little bird..
(I have no fear of stepping on him, because our lounge room is quite spacious so I can see him running too it from wherever I am, he also makes alot of noise before he jumps off his play pen and runs to the turtle! it kind of gives it away ;) hahahaha..)
it's only about 15 cms higher..he just loves to sit on it.. preen himself on it...he's obsessed with it, when he runs there initially, we get him to step up on his rope, put him back in his play pen but he will run straight to it again. He will take the turtle over any reflections as well..
he doesn't do the dirty deed on it or anything.. he just loves to sit on it?? we have to leave him to play and sit on the turtle and after hour or so until he will stay in his play pen when we pick him up...
Is anyone else bird obsessed with something in their house like this?...
Do I need to discourage this?
I can't move the turtle as my mum is into feng shui and it has to stay there...(I just hope birds and turtles are good feng shui)
