Happy Hut Colour & Cleaning Habits?

Okay guys so I have 2 happyhuts for my little guy... he loves them to sleep in / play on and around... I swap them every now and then just so I can clean them properly and let them dry out - but not leave him without a place to sleep at night...

Now here's the weird part... In his yellow happy hut, he is sure to keep it neat and clean, always sweeping away any poops he does during the night...

BUT... In his BLUE happy hut he doesn;t seem to care... the poops pile up until i am forced to clean it out my self! lol

Any thoughts on this?

I had a dark blue and a purple happy hut which i always rotated when the other was being cleaned, Bobble my female only uses it, Sticky my male did a long time ago but loves his snuggle ring now. I decided she needed a new one as the blue one was getting tatty so i went to the petshop and decided to get a yellow one as they seem to always like yellow (yellow buttons on the tv remote are always bitten the most!) Since putting the yellow one in, she is in it most of the day, before she was only in the happy hut at night, sometimes she just sits in it doing nothing! A recent thing is what i put a thread up on recently as in the yellow one she is scuffing her feet backwards and forwards pushing her face into where the floor meets the wall! And she never poo's in this one, the other two always had a poo mountain in every morning which i used to have to scoop out!

I did wonder if it was the colour, ill have to see what happens when i put the purple one back in! :D

Mabey they can see poops more clearly on a light colored hut......

Yeah. elmo is the same. a purple one.. he has had it for weeks.. and ive seen one poop in it. but other cozy caves that was white.. there was poop everywhere!!

I have seen elmo come out of his cozy cave do a poop and then go back into his cozy cave!!

So now I just leave the purple one in there, I dont need to clean it at all..

I dont know why they do it, just thought to let you know your lovie is not alone haha..

... Seriously! ... At this rate I'm gunna leave his yellow Happyhut in the cage from now on! THIS IS GREAT! (Or maybe go out and buy a 2nd yellow one to swap with?)... It's too bad tho, cause I was the one who really liked the blue one lol...
