i often put my hand in the cage and give her scritches, well she (might be he) will breath heavy and chew my fingers then she tries to regurgitate, she was really enjoying it, trying to bring up her food worries me a bit because if she brings it up (i have noticed a few seeds in her mouth) wont she get hungry ?

i take it these are good, but then i noticed her scratching her head, she was really going for it and couldn't stop, i put some water in for her to bath in which she did, wish i had got pics it was so cute, she then rubbed her head on everything, she has stopped now i just wondered if they were connected or if i should stop showing her so much affection, when she Si out she clings to the mirror n the living room lol it has roped round it she loves them, that and the light :D, s why do i seem to get more effective form inside the cage? alltho she will sit on my shoulder after a while,

am i worrying too much ? she is a little angel love her to bits but just worries when she breaths like that then tries to bring up her food

It's beginning to sound like Mrs. Lovett is actually Mr. Lovett. You have written a pretty good description of the "Itchy Clicky Dance" that male lovies do to court their "intendeds" . Does "Mrs" lovett make a funny little clicking noise when "she" does this? When I got my first lovie, who came to me at 4 years old & was named Katie, I took "her" to the vet because "she" was scratching "her" head so much I thought "she" had parasites. I was also worried about the huge quantities of bird seed "she" vomited every day. Now I know that both behaviors were just signs that Katie was falling in love with me and that HE needed a new name. And don't worry. Mr./Mrs. Lovett won't starve to death
