Lily has a new game. It's not quite as cool as Gussie's game that she plays with Bubblelady, but it's pretty close.

Lily really wants to try to preen my face. I would rather she didn't. So she flies from the computer monitor over to the top of my head, grabs onto my hair with her feet, and then slides down my bangs, upside down, until she's level with my eyes. From there she tries to swing to reach my face.

I then pick her out of my hair and place her on my shoulder, where she climbs up the side of my head by my hair (or ear, whichever is available).

Now both birds are flying from the monitor, to momma's head, to the back of momma's chair, to momma's shoulder, back to momma's head, back to the monitor.

I have just about had enough of this game.

Zimber used to slide down my forehead while holding onto my hair and look my in the eyes like Lily. Then he started to bite a piece of skin between my eyebrows just hard enough to be annoying. Hopefully, Lily won't realize how much attention she can get doing this:confused:.

Cleo, Flutter, Violet, Tobi and the 2 Creamino preen machines all do that when they are out, many times all at once, each on different strands of hair. :omg: Don't know how to unteach that one!

Eddie gets jealous when I am on the phone, so he will run down my back, up under my shirt, and bite me right on the bum! Of couse he does this when I am not wearing jeans.... so I can feel it better! lol

I'm amazed at how many birdies seem to know this game. I had a budgie who played it but hadn''t heard of others doing so. I'd love to see a video of Linda's birds playing the team version of this game :omg:

And, true to my word, I have been blowing the whistle on Gussie's glasses sitting. I just take the glasses off! So, now she is creating new games when she wants mom's attention. One is "keyboard dash"--she just runs from one side of the keyboard to the other & back again. Repeatedly. And she is fast Very hard for an old lady to catch her when she gets in high gear. The other game, when there is no keyboard handy, is "Nibble the ear". This involves rapid, insistent nibbling on the hard carteledge ridge in the middle of my ear pinna. VERY annoying :omg: May have to resort to my ex-roomie's solution to "bangs swinging"--a shower cap!

Lily sounds just too cute. I too know this game, as it seems if you have bangs,this is a game that they all seem to be born to play, LOL.

Slater loves this game, and like Zimber, he loves to nip right between the eyes. I think it has something to do with the little wrinkle there:whistle:
