I had a great birthday yesterday.I went out to dinner with my family and that had to be the most satisfying dinner ever. I could barely walk when I was finished ;). Anyways, I was wondering how much a Blue lovebird would cost. Hand fed, Hand raised, etc. I am getting a peach faced green lovie but would blue cost a bit more because of color?

A Dutch Blue or Whiteface Blue Peachfaced Lovebird might cost a little bit more but not much. Green with the reddish peach face is the normal color and they tend to be the least expensive, although I, personally, think they are just gorgeous! Without a good basic colored lovie, a lot of your more expensive mutations might not be as pretty. In fact, one of the hardest lovebirds to find is a Green Peachie with no hidden genetics. :)

That's what I was thinking. Because I was thinking on getting another lovie in the future if I wanted to. I love to Blue/purplish lovebirds. They are so gorgeous! Also the lovebirds that have alot of different colors on them. I don't know what they are called but they are so beautiful! :)

I also have a soft spot for the white faced double violet factor birds, some day i will get one but with 7 parrots of different breeds i dont think it will be for a while lol
