Very interesting, Tim.
I was reading today that American Robins seem to be carrying more WNV than crows. Scary for those of us in my area is that there are now 3 confirmed cases of WNV in humans.

Interesting article. I have to admit I thought this thread was a story about Melly's interest in bugs and thought Jennifer was telling us about a big bug takedown 8o .

I've often cringed whenever I would see any animals on TV being tormented by parasitic insects. Stampedes can be caused by one animal freaking out from the biting pests. It is nice to know that at least one species has learned to fight back.:)
