I LOVE the one on the left. What do you call their colors?
dont know the scientific name but I would call it a "REALLY BEAUTIFUL LOVIE!!!!" hahahaha..

The coloring in the photo is awful but the bird appears to be a Double Dark Factor Pied Blue.

My first thought as well. I have one of these birds in my flock as a foster. My lovie Babygirl is a green series double dark pied and looks pretty similiar.

I would guess Olive pied
Olive is green series and the apricot colored brow makes the lovebird blue series. Slate (double dark factor blue) Pied is the correct mutation.

Look for the brow color. It was a guess. I just looked at the color & thought olive. Thanks for the tip...I'll remeber that!

Nomenclature (mutation names) can be confusing if you are not familiar with what you are looking at. A lot of mutation names are changing and I try to reference the one most commonly known in the US vs the one that most Europeans recognize. That serves 2 purposes. It makes me more familiar with the newer names, as I keep repeating them, and everyone else gets to see/associate newer with older, as well.
