it looks like i'm one step closer to my birthday wish. I had all three out today and guess what? i took more photos than this, but you get the gist of it.

does this mean that they are starting to like one another? I sure hope so. Evie didn't participate. Miss Independent preened herself. I don't think she wanted to share Joey, but that's ok. Of course it was mainly Pan preening Joey, but this has to be a good sign right? Joey still had issues w/ Pan after awhile, but I think that was cuz Pan kept wanting to preen Jojo's feet, which he didn't like.

at the moment pan is the odd man out so this is really a big deal for me. it's a huge step. i can only hope it gets better.

And when they preen one another, sometimes one of them will make sounds like it's painful. is this normal?

You have very pretty lovies!.........Certainly, Joey and Pan don't look the least bit strife to me. Could it be those little preening peeps every now and then are just little ooohh's and ahhh's?. Really, i've seen this happen with other pairs of birds who still enjoy a good relationship. Best wishes though, as I know sometimes three can be a bit touchy...........:)

This is a very good sign. Pan is grooming Joey very nicely and Joey doesn't seem to object in the least! Little squeaks could be because Pan is preening a bit too hard and Joey is letting Pan know.

I would be excited, too, although Evolet may not be too happy......

OMG, so cute!! Mika and Kano will do that little squeak every once in a while when they preen. And they'll squabble for a couple of seconds as if to say, "Don't do that!" "Well, I didn't know!" "Okay, fine. Go back to preening." "Fine!" *lol*

that is such a great sign - it means they are relaxed enough to preen!!! kiwi makes that sound while i am preening him when i touch a sensitive feather or pinfeather. nothing to worry about. they are on their way to becoming friends!!! :clap :)

Awww.... that is soooo sweet! They look to be getting along great.

Although Eddie and Jimmy live together during the day (the sleep seperate) they do not preen each other. You are a lucky lady!

it's a process, but everyday is getting better for pan. him and evie can preen themselves while sitting about 5 inches apart w/o her scaring him off. Man, that is one dominating girl (Evie). But jojo doesn't mind getting preened. I swear, if he was human, he'd be addicted to body massages cuz this bird loves getting preened and scritches.
