Leads in Search for New Fid

I'm going to look at some whiteface blue lovies only one town over on Thursday :pray::pray:and if things don't work out- sometime next week we're going either several hours north to see some turquoise parrotlets, and/or several hours south to see some whiteface dutch blue, sea green, and lutino lovies.

The whiteface slate I'd been looking at is gone. :(

Good luck and happy shopping. Maybe you could find a "lovie-p'let" like Zoe...that is a parrotlet that thinks it's a lovie, or a lovie that thinks it's a p'let!!:whistle:

I have found my lovie!!

It turns out that the person who had put a deposit on the whiteface slate backed out, and I am picking him up on Saturday! I am so happy! I had wanted to hear back from the breeder about what was going on before I decided for sure, and someone else had put a deposit on him during that time. Hooray! I cleaned my house and especially the cage so rigorously the last few days I can hardly sit up to type (I have a degenerative connective tissue disease) and am in a ton of pain, but its worth it! I have a $40 gift card for a local pet shop, and when I go to buy fish food tonight I'm going to get some of the things I need for him, I have some toys & perches coming, and the tinker toys are scheduled to arrive sometime this week. I knew things would turn out great in the end. Keep an eye out for a photo post once he's settled in!!
