New cage .... great space saver!

Hi there.... just got an AMAZING deal on this cage ($259 shipping included)
it is 40"L and I think 22 X20 (for each floor). It has removable dividers too, so 6 birds could go in there.

Once the tiel is out of quarantine, he can go in here too. This will save space, as the boyfriend didn't want his living room being taken over by cages. I was supposed to get a double stacker, but they were out of stock. So, I got the much more expensive cage for the same price! I will get the double stack once I move over to my house. I start demolition on the kitchen this weekend, so hopefully I will be in there by spring!

Here are Eddie and Jimmy in their part. I hope it isn't too small for the tiel for short term housing.

And, does "he" look like a she? I say Eddie preen him a couple times yesterday, and last night..... they slept in a TINY sleep hut together. It was so tight, Eddie was partially on his back! lol

I thought I saw them both doing a little clicking and scratching today too. Would two males do that?

I know two males can get along very well, to the point where they can have "relations" and people think they are a bonded pair the whole time. We know Eddie is a male, so perhaps they just either get on really well.....or your boyfriend will be a Papa before he knows it!

I always wanted a stacking cage for my quaker and IRN...but they both LOVE sitting on top of their cage. I feel like the lower ones are too dark so i never did go for it. I agree tho, great on saving space!

I never heard of that Durante guy.

The lower levels on this new cage are dark, so when the tiel gets out of quarentine, I will have to fashion some kind of a light on there for him.
