Darn Chicken!!!!!!

One of my Golden Sex Linked hens has found a way to get out of the back yard fence. Her wings are clipped so she's not flying over the 4' chain link fence on the one side of the house. She doesn't leave the front yard. She just seems to like it there. I've put her back a couple of times. My daughter has put her back twice, and, as I've discovered, she can go back the same way she came out! :omg:

Well, when I got home from work today, I happened to look over at one of my Ornamental Pineapple plants and found some of this chicken's handiwork. Under the plant, up against the house, was a nest that contained 3 eggs! I guess I'm going to have to look around to see if she has any other favorite places....... :rofl:

Ha ha! Tricky hen.

I once had a banty chicken lay her egg in the garbage can. The wind had blown the lid off and she evidently thought that was a good spot. She was terribly upset when I made her move and put the lid back on the can.

A banty hen can be just as protective as any lovie hen too!
