I just noticed this tonight - Luka and I were having a training session and she had quite a bit of millet today. When we were done she went back in her cage and now is sitting on her perch eating SOMETHING. Is this the millet? I can hear crunching so I know she's eating something but are they able to do that? save food for later?
thanks.

I'm just guessing, but she might be grinding her beak, which means that's she's really happy. Can you see anything in her mouth?

no i looked at her doing it and couldnt see anything - I was concerned for a minute that she was throwing up but there was definite noise and I just assumed she was eating because thats what it sounds like when she does.
She actually just tucked her head in her wing and is sleeping--- adorably!!
