I was sitting next to my loveys cage this morning eating some apple slices and drinking OJ. After some squaking for a good 10 minutes he settled and started staring at me. So I just talked to him quietly and kept eating - then he came down from the top corner of his cage and started eating too!!

I am excited:blush:

Yup, you've got the beginnings of a breakthrough! Lovebirds are very social and like company in everything they do. Next thing you know, yours will be eating when you do but he/she will be sharing what's on your plate!! :lol

Congratulations! Eating together is a good thing. My Buddy hates to eat alone. She will, if I'm gone for too long, but usually waits till I get home, then chows down like she hadn't had any food in her cage all day! Her favorite way to eat is out of my hand. And that day will come for you and your little guy--or girl :)
