Hatchday party?

:blush: This may sound kind of weird, but did anyone ever have a "Hatchday" party for their bird? I mentioned to my husband that I may want to have a little party for Squeaky and he thought I was kidding. It would be very small, just my Mom and a few friends that know/like Squeaky. Is this very odd?

I have approximated Squeaky's hatchday as February 28, 1994. I got him from a pet store on April 30, 1994 and he must have been at least 8 weeks old. I think it is a fair guess. So he'll be 15 and I want to celebrate!! :bday2:

15 is a huge milestone!!! good for squeaky! & good for you for being such a wonderful lovey parront! I say celebrate, I am going to calculate Gus's birthday and probably do the same thing too, so you're not alone!! = )

you should do something. LOL, i was wondering what people do for hatchdays too!!! i want to give all my fids a hatchday party. if you lived closer, i'd invite myself ;)

I just invited 8 people over to celebrate with us! :happy: I'll post pics afterwards so you can see the birthday boy at his party. :)
