Since Bobble has been laying eggs Sticky has become hectic!

He was always a biter, well more of a lunger which 99% comes out of nowhere, like during scritching or when hes say near your face he'll randomly go for you. But lately he has been doing this lots more and not only lunging with a bite but without fail each time drawing blood and actually shaking my finger around like a dog with a toy! He has also taken to biting/pinching the skin on my arm randomly too!

He also is flying around like a maniac, doing crazy zigzags all over the place, he did this before but rarely this much and he spends most of the day attacking and shaking things around! He has turned into a maniac!

Do you think this is beause Bobble just sits on her eggs and he has become bored? We let him out lots in the day so he isnt totally bored!

He sounds bored to me. I'd clip the wings and give him lots of toys to toss around. He may be biting because he gets a rise out of you. I have birds that do that. They conspire amongst themselves about the demonic purpose of toes until they have whipped themselves into a murderous frenzy. Then they stealthfully plan and administer the attack that leaves little piggies swollen, bleeding, and begging for mercy. They are ruthless.

Oh yes, he gets my toes too! Bobble pays no attention to him at all at the moment, he has plenty of toys which he has been attacking and comes out all the time but maybe he misses female attention!

If he is not getting attention from his mate, then he has no preening partner. If he has new feathers coming in, and many do at this time of year, he may have the itchies. Itchies make even the calmest birdies crazy. A bath will soften the keratin sheath on new feathers and make them less itchy, if that is the problem, so try offering him a bath every day or so for a while.

That makes sense, I didnt think of that as he is molting, thanks for the advice :)

(He is like a toddler when I try to get him a bath, never wants one!)
