Well, Pip's humping Ivy's swing is ruining it and the top is all pulled apart now and all falling apart. This is Ivy's favorite cozy thing and she sleeps on this, so I really need to either fix it myself or get a new one. The thing is that I cannot find one like it anywhere, so I am posting a pic in the hopes that someone might have seen one like it somewhere and know where I can get a new one. Here is the swing (what's left of it!) I am off today so I am going to fix it up best I can for now!

Oh, I've never seen that exact type of swing before. I've seen the triangle rope swing at Kalihi Pet Center and I've seen the round fleece swing on eBay, but never the combo of the two!! That's really cute!!
I would think you could either refurbish it with cotton rope and fleece strips or just buy another triangle swing and tie the fleece strips on yourself?

Hi, there is something close at myparrot.com, it's called a snuggly ring. It's all fleece but it can still be used as a swing too, and it's washable.
Here's the info:

Thanks but I need the bottom of it to be straight across because Ivy sleeps on this swing at night. I'm thinking I'm going to to have to take all the rope off of it on the sides and re-do it....get the rope and keep the fleece pieces....they are wrapped up in the rope going up the sides. Right now I just gave it a quick fix and used some rope I have...tied it onto the ends of the ropes that are on it after cutting off the wrecked part and then wrapped it around to the top and tied it in a knot....looks ok, but I'm sure they'll wreck it again soon.....it really needs to have the sides totally re-done.

I think that is called a birdie hanger. I've seen them at Petsmart and Perco.
I found one here that looks similar, but it looks like yarn...not fleece. So it might not be as safe for sleeping. http://www.thefind.com/pets/info-preening-swing#page=4&local=0
Here's one that is a wooden dowel with the fleece around it....http://www.birdsafestore.com/Products/Fleece-Swing--Small__GRA-FS2.aspx
Here's another interesting one on eBay.....http://cgi.ebay.com.sg/NEW-COZY-SNUGGLE-SWING-FOR-KEET-LOVEBIRD-PARROTLETS_W0QQitemZ110368813192QQcmdZViewItemQQpt ZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item110368813192

Thanks NickyBeth! that first one is pretty darn close! AND a good price too! I may just get it and see how it goes over....yarn, fleece...close enough....still soft and cozy.

Do you think that Ivy would like this one: http://www.naturechest.com/medium-fleece-swing.html
You might want to contact Birdy Booty, too. They are on a summer vaca right now but I'm sure that they'd be willing to help once they are back: http://birdybooty.com/

I want the perch across the bottom to be rope perch, not wooden as the rope perch is more cozy and comfortable, and Ivy sleeps on this. I don't care so much about the fleece on the sides, as long as that is cozy stuff then I think the one NickyBeth found should work. Also maybe if I could find one that is just plain, without anything....just the rope perch in triangular shape, I could add on the fleece myself. I gave the swing a "quick fix" that looks pretty decent for now and hopefully hold up until I can get a new one. the size of hers is medium I believe, I measured it and it's the size of the medium birdie hanger, about 13" across

I think that this is something you could even make. If you get the swing you can always buy the fleece and wrap rope around the bottom - something like that is really easy to make.

Well....I was thinking of taking her swing and re-doing the sides. I'd need to order the rope to do it though because I don't have enough left. I was thinking I would just buy the one NickyBeth found.....try to re-do the sides of the one that's falling apart....my quick fix didn't hold up long....it's coming apart like crazy now!

Ok, I ordered the that swing, the birdie hanger one with yarn....closeset I think I'm gonna find! plus I got a toy too to go along with it, seeing as Ivy's hatchday is coming up! When the new swing comes, I'll take down the old one and see if I can fix the sides when I get time.
Thanks NickyBeth for finding that swing for me! :)
