Not a good day

We're having a rough time. Buddy hasn't been doing well lately. Not eating well--unless I hold her while she eats. She'll eat millet but not too interested in nutritious food. I give her some hand feeding but limit that so as to not overload her liver. Which looks swollen today. I made an appointment for the vet for tomorrow morning. Then, just a little while ago, she had three major seizures in less than an hour :(, She's been quiet for the last hour--no more seizures, but I know she really is out of it--she let Gussie preen her. I'm afraid the end is drawing near....

Oh nooo, poor little Buddy. I know how hard it must be for you to be thinking the end is near for her....I sure hope that she does ok until the vet appt. tomorrow morning....I'll be hoping really hard for you! :hug: remember, she made it through a tough time once before. Thanks for all the support. We made it through the night--Buddy in my shirt & me in my recliner--with no more seizures. Poor baby was totally wiped. But about 10 P.M. I felt a little stirring. And heard beak grinding:) She's still in my shirt. And still quiet. But at least not inert...

We leave for the vet in a couple of hours. I won't be able to check in till Sunday night because we will go straight from the vet's to my weekend with my mom & I won't have access to a computer till I get back. In the meantime, please keep sending those healing thoughts. We all--Buddy, my mom, and I--need lots of help right now....

Oh bubblelady Im so sorry to hear about Buddy!! Ive been missing for a few days so I hope that he is doing better today then when you posted. You are in my thoughts and please try to take it easy and not worry too much, this can turn around and Buddy can just be having a string of bad events. Think good thoughts, we are all here for you.
