I was online today and someone messaged me.....asking me where in Mass. I was. I told them and said.....who is this?? and the person said she was the one I had emailed about the lovebird. Oooookay.....I'm thinking....which one?? I had emailed a couple lately, but she said she posted an add in the Albany NY area, AND is from Pittsfield!!! I don't recall emailing anyone about a lovebird from that area.....only one that had four babies and this is not the same one.....she has one male peachie....DNA'd about a year old! SOooo, who is this person?? I went through my emails looking and wondering....who did I email?? lol and can't come up with an answer! Oh well.....I am going to see the lovie on Monday! after Pip's vet appt.

Sounds fair, what she's offering, but it does seem strange. Even if your brain cells are slowly loosing its connections to its neighbors, you would remember the mention of Pittsfield!

Don't want to rain on your parade, but I thought I'd bring this up as something that caught my antenna.

Well, the girl who messaged me said she'd call me, but I guess she got held up at an appt. and she had her hubby call. He sounded very nice, but I'll call back and talk to her over the weekend sometime.
I had found a couple of adds lately that I had emailed and asked some questions. I wouldn't know or remember that she is from the same town as me as the town was never mentioned in her add.....according to her....all I know is it was posted in the Albany NY area section of craigslist....which really is pretty close to us. Most of the adds for western mass. are from the springfield area and quite a bit further east of me. I still don't remember emailing any adds that were in that area.....I keep all my emails so I can go through them....I'm embarrased to tell her that I don't remember responding to her add! Oh well.....I'll find out....maybe it was a while ago. :confused:

Maybe this is fate! Maybe you responded to a craigslist ad that was more vague in the description of the area. i.e. "western mass" etc.

I know that you already found out you wont be getting the bird but after reading this post & how eerie it was that you dont remember emailing I couldnt help but think it might have been fate!!
