Kiwi!

I was on Skype today with R today and I got to see my cute little Kiwi. She was screeching up a storm when she heard my voice. And then there was feedback on the mic so she thought there was another bird in the room and got even louder! :rofl:

And the most adorable thing happened. Before I left I had taught her to give kisses. I'd tell her to give me a kiss and she would make the cutest little smoochy noise and look so pleased with herself. Well, after I had been chatting with R for a while, she flew down to his shoulder and was showing off for the camera. I said her name and made the kissy noise. Rob held her right up to the camera...and she smooched really loudly and then did her happy puff/shake. It was those most amazing thing. It almost made me tear up. She did it a few more times, too, so we did it back and forth for a few minutes. What a smart little birdy. She is such a happy little girl and she looks like she is doing really well. I was so nice to see my baby girl. I am still smiling from the kisses she gave me!

When I was away from my birdies, Chris would put me on speakerphone and they got excited, but that's really one better!

I didnt realise the floof and shake was because they were happy! Sticky does this every time I wolf whistle at him!

I dug up this video of my sweet Keeker kissing (and then attacking) her friend, "Mr. Peepers". This video was taken about a month ago, a few days after I taught her to give kisses.
