My Red Belly comes home on Saturday! Woot! His cage is all set up, I've got a travel carrier, and I'm very, very excited!! I am picking up the rental car around 9, and then I'm leaving at around 11:30 to get my baby boy. Well, my 4 year old baby boy :)
So...it's time to play the name game again! He does have a name (Eddie), but that name has a lot of (negative) connotations for me so I think I would like to change his name slightly. At 4 I don't want to change it drastically, so I still want it to have the "ee" sound at the end.
I *really* like the name Oliver (I can call him "Ollie"). If that's ok with you, of course, Janie
I'd really like him to have a name of a character/author in nineteenth-century literature. So I was also thinking Darcy, but that might be hard for him to say. I like Charlie, too.
I'm open to suggestions. He is definitely a HE (so cool to have a sexually dimorphic bird!), so I don't need to worry about finding a gender ambiguous name.
I can't wait to bring him home! I'll take many pictures, I promise!!
