That I'm thinking of possible names for a friend for Johari suggests it's really a decesion I've already made :whistle: Anyway, here are the names at the top of the list. These aren't the only ways to say "friend" in Swahili...Must be some really friendly people in Swahililand :happy: So, opinions, please :)



Rafiki: friend

Mwenzi: companion, friend

Beshte: friend, pal, buddy

rafiki makes me think of the baboon from Lion King. lol Mwenzi is too much for my mouth... I like Beshte the best so far!

I like Rafiki. It just sounds cute, even if it was used for a babboon in a cartoon.

I like the first one too......I believe that Swahili is not a land, just a language. I had a friend who spoke that language that was from Somalia.....very friendly person though!!

I like Rafiki! Maybe because I'm a fan of The Lion King, LOL...but it also sounds really cute!
