So today Junior is climbing on my head, biting me, biting my mom, climbing on my moms face, squawking loudly and just flat out being mean and annoying!

Is there any way to train a lovebird to have MANNERS?

Maybe the next one I get will calm Junior down...he seems very angry today so he is spending time in time-out in his cage. Oh, and at the moment his feathers are ruffled and he is getting mad at his toys and sqwaking...ay yi yi! Birdy needs a nap.

Sounds silly but when my two are naughty i wolf whistle at them or make noises with my mouth and they just stare transfixed! :) they are also amazed by zips going up and down!

Lol no!
Be patient, give him cage time if hes to wild, and mabey a light wing clip, but no they never truly learn manners, eventualy with time and patience they train us to accept their habbits etc lol

My favorite line from a book called The Parrot Who Owned Me

"It is impossible to discipline a parrot!"

The author goes on to comment that parrots haven't been out of the wild long enough become domesticated. Even captive-bred, human-socialized parrots are still "wild animals". And they will let us know when, in their not-so-humble opinions, we are out of line
