People bug me...

So, this is just me ranting about something that really bugged me.
I made a wood branch perch for my lovebird, like a little play jungle gym, and thought, hey, perhaps some local birdowners would be interested in something like this. So I posted it on our local kijiji, to see if anyone wanted me to make them one. I get this rude e-mail back, saying "Hello! Get a life!,and get a mate for your bird! Bent,(11 lovebird)" >:
I replied to him with a long thought filled e-mail about how he is a rude idiot.
I wish some people would just keep things to themselves, you know?

Hi, well I think those are very cool 8) and it looks like your bird is enjoying them! Just don't even let that person get under your skin. They're just not worth the trouble and energy. They need to get a life if all they can do is criticize others... :whistle:

Ugh! seriously, people need to get a grip! i would totally love one of those things... and even if i saw something crafty i didn't like, there's no need to take that extra step to insult someone thru email.

I've learned not to even respond. There are some people who are so miserable and bored that they troll the internet all day long just to start trouble.

I think they look very enjoyable. I make manzanita things like that myself.

People will say and do things behind the invisibility of a computer monitor that they would never do/say face to face. My stock answer is "My 4 yr old has better manners than you do!" Of course, that can make an individual even more obnoxious so ignoring them/adding them to blocked senders list usually works best.....

Of course, bird people understand and appreciate your creations. I think they are neat!

Clever, fun gyms! I make mine, too, but I bake mine for about an hour at 200 Farenheit to kill off bugs and bug eggs. I don't want to see little piles of sawdust underneath my free gyms!

Some people will diss Mother Theresa, they have so much deep ugliness inside them. Just be absolutely sure you don't marry one of them. :omg: Scary huh? These trolls are out there and they may act and look like regular people. Shiver.

Awww man, are you KIDDING?! I am from Halifax. I just moved to BC three weeks ago.... Wish I had known when I was still on the east coast...it would have been nice to have a birdy friend. Ah well. I'll be home in October for a week or so...;)
