Confused?

I always thought Keiko was a boy as he humped his happy hut and his catballs..but today I was playing with him and went to pat him on the back and he stopped opened his wings and stuck his butt in the air...isn't this a female mating trick??:confused:

all my male lovies have done that at one point or another. lol I used to think it was hilarious until i found out it was a hen thing. but! no eggies ever from any of them. but they'd only do it if they were already doing the clicky dance & worked up. And my hand had to be flat open & approach from straight above. sillies.

I'm 99.99% sure Peanut is a boy. He does the clicky dance and tries to mate with everything! My hand, my head, my foot, toys, etc. The other day I saw him trying to tuck a shredding toy and it fell right out. The weird thing is, when he tried to tuck the pieces of a shredding toy into his tail and saw them fall out. Then he tried to tuck them into his chest LOL

But, if I come at him from up above as if I am going to pick him up, he will spread his wings at me.
