I had just finished watching the Watchmen Director's Cut, so the tune was in my head... some of this came along when I was trying to sleep and I filled in what I forgot this morning... think Simon and Garfunkle trying to write music with a quaker screaming... no sleep, no sleep...

Hello Koko, little friend
You're crazy squawking never ends
When mummy's fast asleep and dreaming
You just can't seem to quit your screaming
And the shrieks of the quaker still echo
Through our rooms and halls
Cos no one at all
Can stop to screams
Of Koko

Koko screams and cries and moans
Anytime he is alone
And when his mom's asleep and snoring
He wonders why she is ignoring
But the screams of the quaker
Are lost inside the ear plug foam
Even when we're not home
The neighbors hear the cries
of Koko

Don't get me wrong, I love Koko with all my heart, but its tough to ignore him and I know that paying attention when he's seeking it through bad behavior is just reinforcing it. He's usually pretty good about not yelling so long as A) someone is in the room and B) someone is awake. The rest of the time he just talks, makes sounds, laughs and sings.

The birds love it when I sing songs with their names in it, but I think I'll keep this one to myself, as its a bit mean.

I like the meter--good fit to Simon and Garfunkel's song--and the sentiment. :)
